Harry Potter World & Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood has a lot of celebrities at Christmas time: Harry Potter, The Grinch, Jurassic Park Dinosaurs… and I spent the day visiting them all and filming on my GoPro! Harry Potter World just opened earlier in 2016 so I spent a magical day checking out Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the rides, the foods, the wands and the Butterbeer!

And since it was Christmas season, they even had Who-Ville, with the Grinch, the famous Who Christmas Tree and many Who’s walking about, ready to speak with you.
We even snuck in a Jurassic Park ride!
I hope this GoPro vlog guide helps you make the most of your trip to Universal! Tip: Don’t bother with the butterbeer!

Love, Travel & Getting Married: The Best Day of My Life

We were married barefoot on the sand in Saint Lucia, at the jaw-dropping Sugar Beach A Viceroy Resort (many of you may know me as a Hotel Snob, let me tell you–this hotel will knock your socks off, no matter how much of a snob you are ;).

There’s so much more to say about the catamaran cruise, the rehearsal dinner at Ladera and the big day on the sand and dancing at the Bayside Restaurant, but since it’s our ONE YEAR anniversary, I’m going to release the never before seen Wedding Video. Let me know what you think!

What really makes a difference in creating authentic outdoor experiences is finding partners who treat each event as unique rather than offering cookie-cutter solutions. For our daughter’s graduation party, we wanted something more personal than the typical venue hire, somewhere that felt like an extension of our garden rather than an imposition on it. Working with BAR Events UK opened up possibilities we hadn’t even considered—they helped us understand how the layout could flow naturally from our terrace into the tipi space, creating zones for dining, dancing, and conversation. The attention to detail extended to practical concerns too, like positioning to maximise natural light during the afternoon and ensuring the structure complemented rather than overwhelmed our existing landscaping. That collaborative approach meant the final result felt truly ours.
