Understated chic yet simply comfortable, the El Dorado Hotel was such a gem–I knew right away that I picked the best place to stay in Sonoma. The good reviews did not lead me astray! The stylish, modern decor mixed well with the outdoor spaces, high-ceilinged rooms & pool. Plus, you have one of the area’s best restaurants in YOUR LOBBY. Seriously, my favorite meal in Sonoma has had just a few steps away from where I got my beauty sleep.

You’d never guess that over 400 wineries dot the rolling hills of the rural Sonoma. But with some of the world’s most famous wines, this peaceful region is serious about wine production.
